Bullying Prevention Resources

CSCSHC strives to work closely with students and families to help our young people when they feel bullied, intimidated, or inadequate.

Please see this list of resources for how to talk to your students about bullying or being a victim of bullying:

Helping Students Cope with Grief

If your child is dealing with the loss of a loved one and needs additional support during school, please let his/her school staff know. In addition to your child's teacher and principal, assistance is available through the Guidance Department (grades 7-12), and through our Social Workers in the elementary grades.

Finding what is age-appropriate can be difficult when discussing death, loss, and grief. Not only are adults unsure what words to use, children of different ages will express their loss differently. The following articles may be of assistance:

Digital Citizenship

Teaching students to be good digital citizens is an important part of the CSCSHC curriculum. Students should leave CSCSHC with the ability to make safe, smart, and ethical decisions in the digital world. We implement resources from Common Sense Media into our curriculum to engage our students in discussions and activities that will empower them to make good decisions when using technology.
